BAB: Medium, Fort: Poor, Ref: Good, Will: Good; Spellcasting + 1 to caster level for arcane spellcasting at the following levels 2nd, 4th, 6th 8th, and 10th.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Monks of the dark moon gain proficiency with the Chakram. They gain not further proficiency with armor or shields.
Shadow Weave Training (Sp): At 1st level a monk of the dark moon gains Shadow Weave Magic feat as a bonus feat.
Sneak Attack (Ex): At 1st level you gain a sneak attack. This is exactly like the rogue ability of the same name. The extra damage dealt increases by + 1d6 at the following levels; 1st, 5th, and 9th. If a monk of the dark moon gets a sneak attack bonus from another source, the bonuses on damage stack.
Ki Training (Ex): A monk of the dark moon continues their martial training. Every level in monk of the dark moon counts as a level in the monk class for determining ki pool, and other effects that depend on monk levels. This also increases the monks ki strike abilities.
Shadow Spell (Sp): At 2nd level a monk of the dark moon learns the Shadow Weapon spell as a bonus spell.
Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 3rd level, a monk of the dark moon cannot be caught flat-footed, even if the attacker is invisible. He still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A monk of the dark moon with this ability can still lose his Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against him.
Shadow Illusion (Sp): When a monk of the dark moon reaches 4th level, she can create visual illusions. This ability functions as silent image, using the monk of the dark moon’s level as the caster level. A monk of the dark moon can use this ability once per day for every two monk of the dark moon levels she has attained. The DC for this ability is Charisma-based.
Ki Power (Su): At 5th level a monk of the dark moon learns a new ki power.
Shadow Jump (Su): At 6th level, a monk of the dark moon gains the ability to travel between shadows as if by means of a dimension door spell. The limitation is that the magical transport must begin and end in an area with at least some dim light. A monk of the dark moon can jump up to a total of 60 feet each day in this way; this may be a single jump of 60 feet or sis jumps of 10 feet each. Every two levels higher than 6th, the distance a monk of the dark moon can jump each day doubles (80 feet at 8th, and 160 feet at 10th). This amount can be split among many jumps, but each one, no matter how small, counts as a 10-foot increment.
Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 7th level and higher, a monk of the dark moon can no longer be flanked. This defense denies a rogue the ability to sneak attack the monk of the dark moon by flanking him, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than the target has monk of the dark moon levels.
Quivering Palm (Su): At 7th level a monk of the dark moon learn the quivering palm ki power. A monk can set up vibrations within the body of another creature that can thereafter be fatal if the monk so desires. Using this ability is a standard action that costs 4 ki points, and the monk must announce his intent to use this ability (and spend the ki points) before making the attack roll. Creatures immune to critical hits cannot be affected. Otherwise, if the attack hits and the target takes damage from the blow, the quivering palm attack succeeds. Thereafter, the monk can try to slay the victim at any time within a number of days equal to his monk level. To make such an attempt, the monk merely wills the target to die (a free action); unless the target succeeds at a Fortitude saving throw (DC = 10 + 1/2 the monk’s level + the monk’s Wisdom modifier), it dies. If the saving throw is successful, the target is no longer in danger from that particular quivering palm attack, but it can still be affected by another one at a later time. A monk can have no more than one quivering palm in effect at one time. If a monk uses quivering palm while another is still in effect, the previous one is negated.
Shadow Spell (Sp): At 8th level a monk of the dark moon learns the Shadow Anchor as a bonus spell.
Ki Power (Su): At 9th level a monk of the dark moon learn a new ki power.
Shadow Master (Su): At 10th level, whenever a monk of the dark is in an area of dim light, she gains DR 10/— and a + 2 luck bonus on all saving throws. In addition, whenever she successfully scores a critical hit against a foe who is in an area of dim light, that foe is blinded for 1d6 rounds.
